Restaurants are a Business First
Celebrity chefs have a had a good thing going with the Food Network, Iron Chef, etc. They grow their brand, then grow their restaurants, then their business grow. It can happen fast. The issue with growing so fast with these guys is that they are not businessman. Being a chef and an owner of a company/restaurant are two different animals. A big issue was control for Iron Chef Garces. Not having control when the casino closed along with four of his restaurants. That and the fact that he got behind on the bills. So sad but I wish him good fortune in the future.
